I used the gorgeous map page to form a part of my background on this layout.
I
added a die-cut word sentiment that I cut on my Cricut Maker next to
the matted photo – the white of the sentiment forms a beautiful tone on
tone effect but also makes for a nice backdrop for my collectible
elements to sit on.
The
raised elements using foam tape adds some nice dimension to this
clustered group of elements. I repeated the white circles on top of the
white sentiment – showing them off beautifully against the floral
elements.
I
used my stamp set to add some subtle stamping in the background. I used
the stamp as is, not on an acrylic block and lightly tapped it onto a
brown ink, before lightly touching it to my background. I love how the
subtle effect adds to the distressed paper in the background.
Collectibles layered on top of fussy cut flowers.
Below
the patterned paper strip I added some m ore stamping using the arrow
from my stamp set. The arrow shows movement and also repeats the black
in my collectible element and my photo.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time – keep on dreaming and traveling through your memories with this gorgeous collection!
